What is a suitable age to begin
While a lot depends on the physical size of the individual, we recommend that 9 years is a minimum age to begin learning. Older children tend to learn faster and cope with the size of the instrument. There is no maximum age to begin.
Individual lesson fees are paid directly to the tutor either at the lesson or on a per term basis. One 30 minute private lesson is $25.00. As the student progresses the lesson time will need to be increased to $30.00 for a 45 minute lesson. Lesson location will be organised with the tutor and will not be run during school holidays unless prior arrangements have been made.
